Was walking around the CCA fair the yesterday... There were actually I bunch of other shops there... selling foodies, clothes and craft... came across this stall selling these, they are actually pendants made from clay... hardy enough for normal stuff, but might crack against metal...
What really attracted me is the childlike painting still and the simplistic way the pendants make you go awww... Each was $3.. alittle steep but I guess its great to support the arts =x

Been having these long breaks between lessons recently... those.. too long to slack around in the library alone... yet too short to return back to your hall for net and a nap... so been walking around and cam whoring =3

Recently, I like walking beside the fountain after classes
The cool feeling really relaxes you after a day of lectures and tutorials..
Tried the Chicken Rice at the Golden Spoon the other day... $2 seems reasonable... Boneless chicken, and you have the choice of adding vegetables and eggs... the tea was alittle crummy though... too watery...
And as the weekends draws near... it reminds me once more of the long bus queues at Boon Lay... Despite buses coming every 15 minutes, the queues just keep coming =O Makes me really feel for those chiong'ing for the bus in the mornings... I might be one of them next year =O =O
Went on a Supper Hop event with the hall yest. We left at around 9pm from NTU. And arrived at Niqqi's The Cheese Prata Shop , which is somewhere near NUS. Ironic in ways I guess.
Personally, felt the service was poor, hard to find people to top up an existing order, and felt a rather cold and disgrunted feeling from the staff. Serving was slow too. Maybe it is because we look like poor students. The banana prata was quite good though, sweet and sticky.
After which, we hopped on the bus again, and made our way to Geylang. This time at Mongkok Dim Sum.

Personally, I felt the service here was much better, food came fast. The dim sums were piping hot and they accommodated to top up teapot and special requests. It was alittle pricey, but enjoyable.
The final destination was at East Coast, where we had alittle Stingray and sugar cane... but wasn't really fantastic. And didn't really take footage there.
Finally, we made our way back to hall... some were tired...
but others were satisfied I guess =P 
Its a real pity only 5 from my OG made it... oh well... arh Sze Han... =P
Went out the Montfort Guys on Sunday, to celebrate HhY and Jon's bdaes... Sakura buffet at Downtown East... After 1 and a half hours, 8 beef hot plates, 3 salmon sashimi plates and tons of ice-cream... it was time for the cake...
And then, there was the issue of cutting the frozen ice-cream cake...
And, just when you thought it was all over, and it was safe to go for a smoke break... things take a twist... Round 2!! Sneaky moves by Mao... trying to place his order for some pork...

After all the eating, we went for some bowling... point to note, do reserve a number in advance if you intend to bowl at Downtown East, despite the number of lanes there, the queue is still very long. Took about 2 hours after we reserved, that we got the lanes.
Yes, the concentration when a packet of cigarettes is on the line...
Some others however, were less focused in certain ways.
And it was a hard and close battle between the sexes... but in the end... 1 pin decided it all... karma comes around and bites you... at least I won by a larger margin the last time around =3
And.. I only lost by a point... =P
An interesting documentary about the Chinese in China making an effort to learn English to make a difference at the Olympics.
Well, now that Singapore has won the bid to host the upcoming youth Olympics games 2010 and it has been announced that it will be held at the NTU-NIE campus, it makes you wonder, what are we Singaporeans going to do to make a difference?
Recently, I received an email from a friend about entries for an art contest at the Hirshorn Modern Art Gallery in DC... about artists only being able to use a single A4 paper to create their works.. I did alittle snooping around.. and as it turns out... these works are actually really done on a single A4 paper... but are the works of a Danish Artist called Peter Callesen
Frankly, when I first saw his works, I was both amazed and inspired. The simplicity of the mediums used and resulting the effect archived is amazing. *haha* inspired to take after his style, though maybe less complicated works =P
Normally, I only choose a handful of an artist's works to showcase, but this time, I am going to make an exception. I am choosing him to be the Webby of the week, and will be featuring over 10 of works.. Enjoy! and do visit his webby for even more!!
