You know how relatives always comment how you look so different each year... well.. came across this project by Zoe Crosher
Named "1-Yr Later", it documents changing femininity, from girlhood to womanhood, in a series of photographic portraits that document girls as their leaving high school in their rooms at their parents houses, and then returns one year later to snap them in the same position in their room as before.
Interesting to see that, besides hairstyles, clothes and make-up skills, there is a change in the way their eyes look and how they carry themselves... interesting how this series documents the impact of new experiences... subtle to us, but distinct when brought into comparison.
With Canteen 13 so nearby, there is steep competition between the Japanese and Korean foodies... and the Japanese food does put up a touch fight =P.. ate their teriyaki chicken before, but forgot about the pictures =x... this time, had their beef bowl for $3.50
Must say that it is very different from the bowls at Yoshinoya.. the slices of beefs are not paper thin, but rather more like the chunkier slices from a beef hotplate at a zhi cha stall..
Still tender and juicy despite the thickness and quite filling... girls might want to avoid this though if you don't like onions =P
Alrighty, tried a few dishes at Canteen 13's Korean Food... tried their $3.50 noodles... They do have a cheaper plain noodles, but that is non spicy... the chicken, beef and pork ones are spicy, but at $3.50.. with an option to make it more spicy =3...
Personally, I felt $3.50 was alittle steep... it is very clear that they are using the packet korean noodles, with the addition of some vegetables and the choice of meat.. not really melt in your mouth kind of meat either... so yeah... 
Only get for the convenience of not washing up later =P
Another dish they have is the BBQ hot plate meat... tried the chicken one today... $3.90 comes with a rice, kimchi and a soup...
Personally, I feel that this is quite worth it.. the serving of chicken was a mountain... and it tasted really good... still juicy and well marinated =3 worth going back again =P
