Okay, as valentine's day draws closer, below are the featured places that I strongly recommend. 4 different places to suit your dreams and wallet ^_^x

First up, is Flutes at the Fort. Located at Fort Canning Hill, the colonial feel and romantic atmosphere is a plus. Walking distance from City Hall MRT Station, for those who don't drive =P

Food is great, especially the deserts. Costs about $120 a person based on a ale-carte menu. Features in-house dining, though I strongly recommend alfresco dining in the cool night breeze.

Close enough to the City to catch a movie after dinner, and even closer to a nice walk in the park :) Dress up and enjoy a night of fine dining.

And did I mention the delicious deserts *yum~* the chefs are friendly and might even accommodate something special for that special night :)

Next up, is the Jewel Box Located at Mount Faber, this scenic place has the following package. Spend a romantic evening with the stars, sand and the sea.

Check out the various packages that the restaurants at Mount Faber has to offer during this period.

If the above options are alittle hard on your wallet. Maybe the Big O Cafe Is the choice for you.

Located at Wheelock Place, the relaxed atmosphere and central location, makes it easy for working parties to spend some quality time together. Must try is the Bacon Wrapped Chicken Leg, but then again, the main course are not the stars in this cafe.

Here, it is the mudpies and cakes that do the talking ^_^x Must tries are the Spike D "Cup", The G-Spot and Indecent Obsession. I will let the names do the talking.

Indulge and sin alittle =P anyway... it is only for one night ;)

My Final Recommendation is for the busy couple. For the pair who are still buried under work on this day. Take a mini break from work with your significant other at Spinelli Coffee.

Located conveniently across the island, this Valentine's Day, they are offering a delicious Valentine's Strawberry Cheesecake at just $4.80 and the Strawberry White Chocolate Latte/ Twist at $5.60 onwards.

Stop, savor the sweetness, and treasure the little happiness in life.

And.... 1 more thing~ :p just for the guy who is frantically searching around for more ideas for that special day, maybe you wanna consider the following 101 Valentine's Day Ideas Great ideas, though some rather clitche. Here is alittle flavour of those that made me go awww~~ ^_^x

Valentine's Idea # 12

If your partner has to work late, take a lunch box and fill it with some of her
favorite things such as chocolates, herbal tea, cookies, a small teddy bear.

Next, get a piece of paper and write

"Michelle's Late Night Survival Pack"

Draw a big red cross below this and stick the paper to the top of the box. Tell
your partner to open the box when things get really tough.

Valentine's Idea # 34

Buy some rose petals and place them behind the sun visor on the passenger
side of your car. Take a post it note and write, "I Love You" on it and stick it to the back of the sun visor.

As you are driving to a romantic destination, look at your partner and tell her
she has a mark on her cheek. She will pull down the sun visor to use the
mirror and be showered in rose petals and see your note.
