So, as I am going into NTU in August, Darren decided to share this with me =P Laughed my a$$ off at it, a slow start, but the pace picks up =P
Reminds me of the great lecturers I have had in Sec Sch and Poly ^_^x Love them for making lectures great to go to :) Although in the longer clips, I must say that his lectures are a tad fast :p Pseudopodia~
Is your mustache the source of your knowledge?
If it is then please don't set so difficult questions since most of us don't have mustache.
Maybe I should keep my mustache eh? =P
Came across RocketDock days ago, and I am in love with it ^_^x
It is light. Can be made Lighter with low graphics. Sleek. User-Friendly Interface which allows advanced users to modify to their preferences. Quick browsing through the dock.
View its magic first-hand in the video below.
I have always been in love with I-Mac's dock feature and this is the lightweight solution for Windows. Love how you can minimise windows to the dock and still view videos in it, and how they jump to alert you to changes.
My favourite is the recycle bin. With Microsoft's Powertoy Tweak UI I can finally remove the recycle bin from my desktop, and have it in my dock. Auto-hide the dock, and you have a totally clean desktop ^_^x!!
The only downpoint about the dock is that you can't drag and drop to the dock. Instead, one has to use the directory to manually link programs to the dock. A tad tedious in my view. Hopefully, future versions of the dock will improve upon it ^_^x
Went to watch Step Up 2 over the weekend.. and yeah... it is a MUST WATCH in the movies :) unless you have a really good home theater system =P You gotta experience the rush~!
Storyline: 1.5/3
(not really deep, expected, but it flows)
Effects/Music: 2/2
(Unlike the first Step Up Movie, there is a full range of dance scenes and effects, from dust, to warehouse, to club, to the final rain scene. Monster was really wild on the floor! And the music, is more club-based as compared to the previous Movie, definitely will have you tapping and moving to the beat)
Emotional/Tension: 1/2
(The dance scenes were great, but the other scenes won't as emotional as the first)
Humour: 1/1
(Not extremely witty, but enough humour to crack you up between the dance scenes)
Chemistry: 0/1
(Felt that chemistry was lacking between the main characters. Best chemistry was surprisingly Andie and Moose)
Hotness: 1/1
(Definitely! Briana Evigan is Hot in her white eyelet dress!)
OveraLL: 6.5/10
Great Catch, Entertaining but hard to match up with greats like Dirty Dancing.
And yes... this White eyelet dress *drools*...
Moose working it :) cute element in the movie =P
And the great crew performance at the end~ Oddly reminds me of an Indian movie scene =P
The roadtrip to Malacca over the weekend was an enjoyable one. Lots of heritage and culture in that state, not to mention the great foodies and wonderful handicraft. Fell in love with the following triangular cloth coin pouches and the ingenious idea of combining the coin pouch with a tissue pouch.
Another interesting find at the night market were these hand-painted wooden bookmarks. The pastel colours are just pleasing to the eyes and brings on a smile~ ^_^x
And a cute Chubby bee at the bee farm... Dang... I really have a thing for Chubby stuffed toys these days =P
And yes... the most stunning sight of all... dress-me-up-barney~~~!!! :k lmao'nade~~!!
While waiting for the girls to pay for their part-time courses, noticed the following scene.
So~ is the campus encouraging a puff before and after classes? Or a gentle reminder of the similarities between the exhaust and the pipe? Go figure =P
And yeah... the sticks are really larger than life =O love the effect that the leaves and branches have in the final picture, so bronchi-like...
Back from a long break =P laptop broke down and sadly lots of great pictures were lost =(
The followings were taken at the Singapore Airshow 08, had the opportunity to be there and view the aerial display ^_^x
Personally felt the RAAF Roulettes really did a great job with their display. Tried to give you a flavour of the performance with my basic digicam =P
Also, not forgetting the Black Knights, though most of their display were too quick for my digicam and shakey hands. Well~ at least we managed to capture a nice shot of my favourite display ^_^x
