So yeah, Iphone is the new craze and fad.. and honestly, besides the annoying multiple smses from Iphone users to the rest of the world... (yes, we only see smses 1-by-1).. there is that annoying aspect of the poor reception at times, and even the cutting off of calls midway..

Well, the answer is out.

Yes, it is the way you are holding your phone..

The official statement is as followed:

" Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. This is a fact of life for every wireless phone. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases. "

So yes, it is all about how you hold the phone.. crummy design if you ask me, as most users are right-handed and would do a left palm clamp on the phone.. maybe the makers were left-handed =P

And a video, just to show that the issue is not only for 4G, but also 3G.

and no.. the issue is not only with you... apparently Apple's marketing team has that misconception too =P
