so today was convocation... or graduation.. uni style =x... yeah.. its been 3 years.. comparable with poly.. but somehow.. I just felt that I did more.. and did less all the same... I did try out theater production... but I never acted... I studied science... but never went a step further to mingle with profs or do more... I made new friends.. but in a way.. I also hung out less...
and I guess the weirdest feeling is that I'm not really feeling anything... everyone is happy and all.. like yeah... no more studying.. time to work and make the big bucks... live the dream...
and in a way... I guess I'm in limbo... stuck in a plan I committed to... this is merely a pit-stop, a transit.. a momentary rest... the end is still far from reach.. and far from over...
but by the end of the entire ceremony.. gotta say.. I felt totally sapped.. drained... exhausted... like I ground my life away... without feeling happiness... and missing my chance... *haha* the silly little things of life.

Gotta say, I did ponder about this during the movies.. was wondering why the Deathly Hallows Part 2 didn't make any references back to it..
But like what others have mentioned... although Snape's story was affectionately shown in the movies.. I do feel that the 2nd brother should refer to Albus Dumbledore... as quoted from from Harry Potter wikia.com:

So, unlike Snape, Albus Dumbledore was granted one of the Deathly Hallows... and if you read the book and the backstory about Gellert Grindelwald, Aberforth Dumbledore and Ariana Dumbledore... you would learn that Ariana interfered and was killed during the 3-way duel... filling Albus Dumbledore with guilt, fear and remorse that he might have killed his sister.
Thus, later when he found one of the Horcrux, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, with the Resurrection stone embedded in it.. he forgot that the ring was cursed by Voldemort and put it on... thus, as shown in the movie.. his hand was cursed and ultimately led to his demise... dying for a lost love.
Another interesting pointer is that during his initial duel with Voldemort, Harry Potter had already "possessed" all 3 Deathly Hallows (as stated at the end, by then, he already the "master" of the elder wand)... so... guess it fitting that in succeeding in uniting all three of the Hallows, Harry became the Master of Death and "escaped" it =3

Hmm.. sure many of you have seen T-shirts or read online trivia claiming to be facts.. on how it takes about 30-40 muscles to frown, and 17 to smile?... ever sat and wondered if its true?
Muscles involved in a "zygomatic" (i.e., genuine) smile:
Zygomaticus major and minor. These muscles pull up the corners of the mouth. They're bilateral (one set on either side of the face). Total number of muscles: 4.
Orbicularis oculi. One of these muscles encircles each eye and causes crinkling. Total: 2.
Levator labii superioris. Pulls up corner of lip and nose. Bilateral. Total: 2.
Levator anguli oris. Also helps elevate angle of mouth. Bilateral. Total: 2.
Risorius. Pulls corner of mouth to the side. Bilateral. Total: 2.
Grand total for smiling: 12.
Muscles involved in a frown:
Orbicularis oculi (again). Total: 2.
Platysma. Pulls down lips and wrinkles skin of lower face. Bilateral (though joined at midline). Total: 2.
Corrugator supercilii (bilateral) and procerus (unilateral). Furrow brow. Total: 3.

So yeah, there is a slight difference.. but its likely that we are used to smiling that the muscles are conditioned and thus smiling seems easier. Interestingly, seeing a genuine smile usually causes viewer to smile back, similar to how hearing or seeing a yawn causes one to yawn too.
However, that said, it is even easier to fake a smile, taking up only 2-4 muscles, mainly for the arching and pulling back of the lips.. without the contraction or twinkling of the eyes.. but can we really tell the difference?
