Months back, I posted about the science behind the burger lab... well for Easter, I thought, why not let's look at the science of getting the perfect boiled egg?
and boy, are they precise in their science for it =O
According to them, with the following constants,
- Eggs from the fridge (4°C)
- Large, or moderately sized eggs
- Large volume of water (So that there is no significant drop in temperature on adding the eggs)
- Boil water to 82°C
And it will take around 6 minutes, give or take 15 seconds.
