Great Retro hit. Still provide invaluable knowledge into dancing techniques while:
1) Wearing suspenders.
2) Dressed up as a Hogwarts student.
3) you have no idea why, but you decided to bring a large fluorescent tube to the clubs.
And yes, it has progressed to a hit that you have probably heard on retro nights ^^x
And yes, finally the demo is up. For most who still don't know about it... well.. google chrome decided to take things one step further.. and really challenge the biggies by giving themselves 1 year to come up with a much better OS.
And frankly, I gotta say, the demo is darn impressive.
So here is a quick video on the concept of Chrome OS.
And here is the real demo. Must say that at present, I think it is ideal for netbooks... For things on the go and when speed is essential... Love that 10 sec boot up... I can totally like start it up, check the mails, facebook alittle, and even play a few games while someone is off to the toilet or while waiting for the lecturers, or the bus... Its like you could even get it all done within a minute... that is freakily fast and convenient like a PDA... and if SONY VAIO continues in its line of smaller netbooks... this might actually be the thing to have...
But I must say, that at present, I feel it is still a tad restricted in format and minimality... it is great for the netbook.. but I think I will still stick to the other OS for my desktop... prefer how I have more control over how it looks and stuff... maybe it'll take a year or 2 to change my mind =P
Been to a few weddings recently, and must say that with each one... comes a new idea of a video to either showcase the eventful day or how the couple met...
This idea I have yet to see yet... but must say.. that it is darn original =P
It's by Miror Creations and you can view more of their works on their Facebook page.
Credits to Lala for recommending it
And the one, i really doubt many people have heard about... it is actually one of their better songs...
And just suits for now... I guess the lyrics say it all =)
" I wonder if you're listening,
Picking up on the signals,
Sent back from within.
Sometimes it feels like I don't really know whats going on.
Time and time again it seems like everything is wrong in here.
But there's still tomorrow,
Forget the sorrow,
And I can be on the last train home.
Watch it pass the day,
As it fades away.
No more time to care,
No more time, today.
But we sing,
If we're going nowhere.
Yeah we sing,
If it's not enough.
And we sing,
Sing without a reason.
To ever fall in love. "
Guess I've just been frustrated in more than one ways or another these last few weeks... not much has been going right... and yeah... with the exams coming up... I guess it is not really the time to lose focus... oh well...
Been turning back to metal rock to get some of that frustration out... the next 2 videos are the ones I've been turning to... both by Lostprophets... a Welsh rock band that you don't really hear about in Singapore... first song would be one that actually played on radio... rooftops...
Guess the irony is that we don't really have many rooftops here to scream our lungs out...
I guess, while I am at it... might as well share with everyone this old hit by DJ Quicksilver too...
Originally a pseudo-latin Chant by Era...
Was later remixed with tech-trance bits added... and became what was once and maybe still is a great dance track ^^x really love the layering.. especially when you listen to it with a great pair of headphones... really blows you away =3
Thankx to Alex for bringing this up... didn't realise that I have never featured this song on this blog.... weird...
My favourite theme song for any action film so far... I guess the main fad was the way the first spiderman movie took our breath away... the first time the audience got into his shoes and experienced the swinging first-hand.
But yeah... this is a great collaboration of brilliant artists. Wootx~!
And yes, many people have made covers of the song... some more successful than others =x
.... Click Here to listen to the covers ^^x...
Okay, I lied. First up, is not really a cover, but more of an overlay over the original song. What puts it apart, is that, it is an overlay by a very unlikely instrument, not present in the original song. Enjoy~!
Next up is a cover. But by a girl. Gives a really different feel to the entire song.
And finally yes... this one really just cracked me up =3
