With Hall Productions around the corner... I've been looking for more interesting ways to do props... stumbled across this idea on Design*Sponge that is awesome!

Mainly you will need single-faced corrugated cardboard... roll it up and glue down the ends... large rolls will form the main trunk.. while smaller rolls can be cut to form the branches.

Next, apply plaster over it to add texture... personally, I might even add some sand into the plaster mix to add to that gritty bark feel... wait for it to dry and yeah~! you're done!... to make it more realistic for props, I might even spray paint it brown with some shading.

must say, they look really good, especially the jutted effect from the corrugated surface... and I bet they are pretty light too =3 perfect for quick scene changes!
