You know how relatives always comment how you look so different each year... well.. came across this project by Zoe Crosher
Named "1-Yr Later", it documents changing femininity, from girlhood to womanhood, in a series of photographic portraits that document girls as their leaving high school in their rooms at their parents houses, and then returns one year later to snap them in the same position in their room as before.
Interesting to see that, besides hairstyles, clothes and make-up skills, there is a change in the way their eyes look and how they carry themselves... interesting how this series documents the impact of new experiences... subtle to us, but distinct when brought into comparison.
